Congratulations to #IggyAzalea after she closed out on an eight-figure deal to sell her master recordings and publishing catalog. According to Billboard, the “Kream” rapper negotiated a deal with Domain Capitol, which has seen her give up 100 percent of her shares on songs such as “Fancy,” “Work,” “Black Widow,” and “Sally Walker,” just to name a few.

The deal also meant that Capitol will now have ownership of Iggy’s previously released albums, “The New Classic,” “In My Defense,” and “The End of An Era,” as well as her 2018 EP “Survive The Summer.” Her manager Reece Pearson is said to have helped finalize the deal alongside the help of lawyer Peter Paterno.

An insider adds that Iggy is currently working out a distribution deal for her Bad Dreams label, while retaining full ownership of her masters and publishing on any music she releases moving forward. #Socialites, do you think Iggy should have kept her masters and publishing catalog or was this a smart business decision on her end?
