Days after being kidnapped, abducted students of the Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, have finally been rescued.
Confirming the news, President Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, took to his Twitter page to announce that the 333 abducted boys have been rescued. According to him, he confirmed the information from Katsina State Government.
“The abducted students of the Government Science Secondary School, Kankara has been rescued, the Katsina State Government has confirmed the news.
ALHAMUDLILAH,” he tweeted.

Chairman of The Nigerian In Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa also confirmed it in a her now deleted tweet. She wrote:
“Yaaaay. The 333 boys captured in Katsina have been rescued.
@MBuhari administration has brought back our boys #BringBackOurBoys. Our boys are back.”
In another news, Boko haram leader shared a video of the Kankara boys pleading with the Nigerian Government. The video was Heartbreaking to watch.
