Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Kevin Dillon confirms actor, James McCaffrey, is dead as he died of cancer.
Representatives from Remedy have not yet commented on McCaffrey’s death. The studio is currently working on remakes of the first parts of Max Payne; it was assumed that McCaffrey would again voice the main character of the games.
James McCaffrey was the voice of Max Payne in all three Max Payne films. In addition, he voiced characters in Control and two parts of Alan Wake: in the first game, McCaffrey became the voice of Tom Zane and Alex Casey, in the second – only Casey.
