So from information gathered, a cult group was allegedly burying one of their members around Rumuola last night and started shooting sporadically leading to chaos in the area.
A popular Port Harcourt photographer and CEO of WildShots Studios Michael Nwagugbo then drove on high speed, apparently in a hurry to rescue his mum who was trapped in the chaotic vicinity. In that bid, he had a ghastly accident.
He was then rushed to a poorly equipped hospital which could not help his situation before he was rushed to Save A Life hospital off Stadium Road, where he was pronounced dead.
The video of his final moments sent to me cannot be posted here out of respect for his personality and his family.
Sadly, his birthday is supposed to be next week.
May God rest his soul and also guide us to take the best decisions as we cross this year into 2024.
