Nigerian singer, Burnaboy, has thrown an exclusive shade at Machala, popularly known as, Wizkid, over Grammy win last week Sunday. Recall that Wizkid was announced as the “First Nigerian born in Nigeria” to win the Grammy award.
That title given to Wizkid is hurting Burnaboy in his heart. Taking to his Twitter account, Burnaboy, threw an exclusive and subtle shade at Wizkid over Grammy win. According to Burnaboy, he says his kids will be happy that he won the Grammy award by himself; without the help of anyone.
Hello Mr. Burnaboy, you were pushed by Diddy and Atlantic Records to win the Grammy award for “Best Global Music Album.” His tweet implies that Wizkid didn’t win the Grammy all by himself, because he got featured on Beyoncé’s song, “Brown Skin Girl.”
He wrote: “My kids will confidently beat their chest and say “Daddy did it on his OWN, We can do it on our own.
When you KNOW yourself. NOBODY can tell you about yourself. KNOW YOURSELVES and never go against yourself.
GOD is most definitely NOT A MAN. I will never forget how so many of you prayed that I don’t win. Too dumb to understand that you also win if I win. No worry This is just the beginning. God is Great.
