Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Burger King, Asos and HelloFresh have removed ads from Rumble over failure to demonetized Russell Brand’s account.

Major brands have started pulling adverts from Rumble, where Russell Brand broadcasts his weekly show, as the comedian vows to keep publishing videos on the platform in spite of claims of rape and sexual assault against him.

Burger King, Asos and HelloFresh are among the brands to have removed adverts from the platform, where Brand has amassed a following of 1.4m, according to the News Movement. He hosts a weekly live show on the platform at 5pm BST. But some large brands continue to promote Brand’s content. Apple and Amazon Music continue to hold space on their site for Brand’s podcast, Under The Skin with Russell Brand.

Brand, 48, is also plugging a separate podcast called Stay Free with Russell Brand. The website suggests it can be accessed on a variety of platforms including Spotify, Apple podcasts and Amazon music.

Earlier this week, YouTube stopped Brand from being able to earn any money through his channel for ‘violating our Creator Responsibility policy’. He previously produced around five videos a week for around 6.6million subscribers, earning himself an estimated £1million a year.

Burger King announced Wednesday it is removing artificial colors, flavors and preservatives from its signature Whopper sandwich in the United States.

The Restaurant Brands International chain plans to highlight the change with a global advertising campaign that shows a photo of a moldy Whopper, supposedly 28 days old, with text that reads “the beauty of no artificial preservatives.”

More than 400 U.S. restaurants are already selling Whoppers without artificial additives. The chain expects all Whoppers sold in the U.S. to follow suit by the end of the year. Most European countries are already selling their Whoppers without the artificial additives.

Burger King said more than 90% of all food ingredients at U.S. restaurants do not contain artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. No food items contain MSG or high-fructose corn syrup, both of which are common additives in the fast-food industry.
