Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Brigadier Jackson Mkhaulesi, identified as the lead investigator in Thabo Bester’s rape case who committed suicide as he shot himself dead after leaving Bloemfontein High Court.
SAPS on Monday confirmed that Brigadier Jackson Mkhaulesi, who is one of the investigators in the Thabo Bester and Dr Nandipha prison escape case died.
National police spokesperson Brigadier Athlenda Mathe said they were still probing the circumstances surrounding the death of investigator Mkhaulesi , who was also the police’s provincial head of organised crime.
It is alleged that 59-year-old police Brigadier took his own life, after he left Bloemfontein High Court earlier on Monday, where Dr Nandipha Magudumana’s urgent application to declare her “deportation” from Tanzania unlawful was dismissed.
