BREAKING: Barcadi artist, Pencil Sammy Moripe, confirmed dead as his cause of death is cancer

Pretoria has lost another Barcadi artist Sammy Moripe known as Pencil from the Barcadi duo -Pencil & Zingmaster.

Taking to our DM, sources confirmed that Sammy Moripe died after battling with cancer for almost three years.

“He died of cancer while receiving treatment at the hospital. He passed away around 6:15PM,” a source told Kossyderrickent. 

He was declared dead on March 10, 2023, at exactly 6:15PM. His friends and fans have taken to social media to pen tribute to the late singer.

A friend wrote: “Another Barcadi artist has passed on Rest in Peace to Sammy ‘Pencil’ Moripe from the Barcadi duo -Pencil & Zingmaster. 

“We send our deepest condolences to the Moripe family. This a huge loss to the township of Atteridgeville and PTA townships.”
