Bodies believed to be of missing Stellenbosch couple pulled from vehicle. 

Police have retrieved two bodies from a vehicle believed to be that of a Stellenbosch couple who went missing on Friday.

The bodies, believed to that of Leila Lees, 18, and Ethan Kirkland, 19, were found in a quarry near the corners of Bird and Paul Kruger Streets in the town.

The quarry is in close proximity of The Niche apartment block in Stellenbosch where the couple were last seen.

Anxious family and friends along with a large group of curious onlookers have been gathering at the scene.
