Andrea Victoria Aguilera Paredes (born April 27, 2001) is an Ecuadorian model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Supranational 2023 on July 14, 2023, making her the first Ecuadorian to have won Miss Supranational.
Aguilera was born in Ventanas, Ecuador on April 27, 2001. Besides Ventanas and Guayaquil, she has also lived in other parts of Ecuador, including Quito and Cuenca. Aguilera represented her province in several beauty pageants in her country. She was studying medicine at the University of Guayaquil in 2021, but paused her academic endeavors to compete for Miss Grand International 2021. After the pageant, Aguilera joined the sixth season of Soy el Mejor 2022, but left the reality show after two appearances, due to three jugdes making derogatory remarks about her participation in Miss Grand International. In 2022, Aguilera resumed her studies, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in International Business at the UEES.
She began her pageant career when she was 16 years old and has won several titles in her country including Reina de Ventanas 2018, Miss Earth Ecuador-Fire 2019, Miss New Model Maganize 2020, and Miss Grand Los Rios.
In 2021, she represented Ecuador at Miss Grand International and competed against 59 other candidates at the SHOW DC Retail and Entertainment Mega Complex in Bangkok, Thailand. She won first runner-up after Nguyen Thúc Thuy Tiên of Vietnam was hailed the winner.
Winning in Pageant is not new to her
Andrea is a pageant veteran of her country, and her recent accomplishment is a testament to her steady growth and experience.
