Detroit rapper, Big Sean has finally broken his silence over the death of his former fiancée, Naya Rivera. Recall that Naya Rivera’s body was found at Lake Piru in Ventura, Calif.

Taking to his Instagram page, Big Sean penned a very painful letter to his former fiancée and he wrote: “Rest in Peace, God bless your soul! Thank you for blessing us all with your talent and presence. You are a hero! Not just because of how you saved your son, also because of the barriers you knocked down for so many people to make them feel confident in themselves and to stand tall and be proud when they couldn’t achieve that on their own. I appreciate and cherish everything that ever happened between us making me wiser and a better person. I’m praying for you and your family and I know your watching over them and protecting them. Rest In Peace. Naya.”

Big Sean and Naya started dating in April 2013 after meeting each other via social media and got engaged in October 2013. Sean later teamed up with Naya for her debut single, titled, “Sorry”.

Their relationship only lasted for six months (broke up in April 2013).
