Baken da Sherrif well known from KTN’s Junior TV show was accused of allegedly stealing a motorbike, two phones and Sh124,000. 




Child Actor Baken da Sherrif escaped death narrowly after members of the public pounced on him and beat him up after he was caught stealing.


Information reads: “Former child actor Baken da Sherrif who starred on KTN’s Junior TV show is currently nursing injuries following a thorough beating after he was accused of allegedly stealing a motorbike and Sh124,000. In a viral video that is currently doi…”


In a video widely shared on social media the actor is seen and heard confessing to his apprehenders of stealing a motorbike and two smartphones from his host in Juja.


“We hosted him at our place pale Juja Farm, on Christmas Day. That night, he stole a motorbike license plate KMFD 295R and two phones. He also withdrew Sh124,000 from one of the phones’ Mpesa.”


He then disappeared on 26th December after stealing the valuables However, he was traced and apprehended four days later at Karanja Drive in Kibera.


After a thorough beating, Baken was frog matched to Jogoo Police Station where he is currently being held as the investigation into the matter goes on.


According to a social media user The Gadgets Node, the incident took place on December 25, 2022, as the actor was staying with him.

Baken was badly bruised, and where he was held was badly lit but shared images show blood covering his face. He also asked for water to quench his thirst after getting beaten up but was denied water. While getting questioned, he admitted to the allegations, while explaining that he lived in Nairobi.


The host had taken him in and was shocked by what followed he said: “We hosted him at our place pale Juja Farm, on Christmas Day. That night, he stole a motorbike licence plate KMFD 295R and two phones. He also withdrew KSh124,000 from one of the phones’ M-Pesa.”


 The matter was reported at Juja Police Station and Baken is currently in custody at Jogoo Police Station as investigations are pending.
