Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Kanungu FM Station manager, Twinamatsiko Nelson, allegedly gets arrested for fighting female staffy, Anita Rose.
The suspect was summoned and appeared today morning (01/02/2023), his statement was recorded. He is currently detained pending court.
Kigezi Regional PRO Elly Maate says the case file has been completed and forwarded to RSA with a charge sheet for further management.
The station Manager for 91. 5 Kanungu FM Twinamatsiko Nelson beat up an employee identified as Tumuramye Anita over a business commission. She was then suspended after the incident.
PoliceUg believe this is assault and Twinamatsiko should be in custody by now.
Journalist wrote: “I’ve talked to Anita Tumuramye, a news anchor & presenter at 91.5 Kanungu FM who was assaulted by her Station Manager in the video.
Anita asked 4 her commission Ugx 40,000/= but was assaulted.
Anita was suspended from work. she reported to @PoliceUg on 27th but No arrests made.”
