President Muhammadu Buhari’s aide, Bashir Ahmad, is still debunking the report that the Residence of Chief of Staff, Professor Ibrahim Gambari, was under an attack. According to him, he says the report is still an “EXCLUSIVE FAKE NEWS.”
Taking to his Twitter, Bashir slammed Nigerians whom he feels aren’t intelligent enough. His reply came after Nigerians began to attack him for lying, immediately Garba Shehu confirmed the attack.
Bashir took to his Twitter page to reply Nigerians attacking him by saying that the report is still an “Exclusive fake news.” He ended his tweet by telling Nigerians that there is a difference between “an attempt” and “an invasion.”
He’s indirectly telling Nigerians that the attack was an attempt, meaning that it didn’t happen as it was reported in the news. His statement reads:
