Three Nigerian female celebrities, Adesua Etomi-Wellington, Jemima Osunde and BBNaija Vee, have said that “Women aren’t safe” anymore in Nigeria.
Taking to their social media platforms, Adesua, Jemima and BBNaija Vee give current result for women safety in Nigeria. According to them, they said that Nigeria isn’t a safe country for women anymore. Jemima added that saying “Women aren’t safe” shouldn’t lead to gender war at all because it’s actually the fact.
Their statements came after Baba Ijesha was exposed as a child molester and the death of Iniobong Umoren in Uyo.
Adesua says this: “Woke up to horror news.
Can’t believe he killed her.
All she wanted was a job for goodness sake.
To make an honest living.
What is it?
She did all the right things.
What must a woman do to be safe? What???”
Vee says: “And they released the video of the young girl being molested? Women are not safe in this country. At all.”
Jemima says: “Women are not safe!!!!! It’s not a gender war when it’s facts!!!!!!!
I hope you realize that when you come and say the men are not safe too it’s like coming to say all lives matter when CLEARLY, it’s black people that are constantly being killed by the police.”
