Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Americans have revealed why new generation think Paul George is a G.O.A.T.
Kiyan Anthony is the son of a future Hall of Famer, but that didn’t stop the teenager from naming Paul George as his greatest player of all time.
Anthony did name his father Carmelo as his third greatest player, behind George and Kobe Bryant. Strangely, the younger Anthony’s regard for George is not unusual, with the 33-year-old receiving similar acclaim from another young star recently.
Brandon Miller named George as his G.O.A.T. in the run-up to the 2023 NBA Draft, where Miller was selected No. 2 overall by the Charlotte Hornets, who are coincidentally owned by Michael Jordan. Miller in fact dismissed the idea of LeBron James being the greatest of all time when mentioning George.
Taking to social media, Americans began to give a few reasons why they believe the younger generation see Paul George as their G.O.A.T
Reactions below:
Michael: I get why this new generation likes Paul George. Look at how they think/act: no pressure to actually win anything. Really good at basketball, but hasn’t added anything to his game at all. Gets max money with min results. This generation in a nutshell. Just vibes.
Panyaza: Paul George is 6’8+ with an elite handle and shot and one of the most pleasing games ever. Gets after it defensively and has been an all star for many years and a top 3 MVP candidate in one year, why shouldn’t younger generation appreciate a talent like that?
Grace: These younger guys grew up watching players like Paul George and he most resembles the game they’d like to emulate: tall wing that plays both sides of the ball and has a beautiful handle and shot.
It’s not about accomplishments, it’s about his play-style.
