A leaked WhatsApp chat which claimed that Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido has welcomed a set of twins with his wife, Chioma has surfaced online.
Reports making rounds on the internet that the singer and his wife, who lost their son, Ifeanyi Adeleke in October last year, have welcomed a set of twins.
The singer further fueled the rumours after he hinted at his wife becoming ‘Mama Ibeji’ (mother of twins) in one of his songs on his Album, Timeless.
Chidera Ibekwe Darlington, Human rights activist, in a post via his verified page on Facebook, also shared the good news.
He asserts that the couple, who endured the heartbreak of losing their son Ifeanyi in a tragic incident last year, have now been blessed with twins on American soil, like a phoenix rising from the ashes.
The man of God confirmed the news in a post on his church’s official Facebook page, sharing a screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation with Davido.
According to the chat, Davido told the cleric that his prophecy from last year had come true. Although Davido and Chioma haven’t made an official announcement, congratulations have been pouring in on social media as fans and loved ones expressed joy.
