CEO of Amazon, Jeff Bezos has explained to a customer, Macy why he is in full support of the movement “Black Lives Matter”.

Macy is a customer who found the movement “Black Lives Matter” to be quite disturbing and according to her, she is all for everyone, not just for “Black Lives Matter”.

She wrote via Email: “It is quite disturbing to get on the AMAZON website and see BLACK LIVES MATTER”.

Jeff Bezos replied Macy, explaining why he is in full support of the movement. According to Jeff Bezos, he said that “Black Lives Matter” doesn’t mean other lives don’t matter but it speaks to racism and the disproportionate risk that black people face in America’s law enforcement and justice system.

Jeff Bezos replied via Email: “No Macy, I have to disagree with you. “Black lives matter” doesn’t mean other livew don’t matter. Black lives matter to racism and the disproportionate risk that Black people face in our law enforcement and justice system”

Jeff Bezos continued by saying that he has a 20-year-old son and he is not worried that he might be killed some day but can Black parents hope for the same thing?

He wrote: “I have a 20-year-old son, and I simply don’t worry that he might be choked to death while being detained one day. It’s not the same thing I worry about. Black parents can’t say the same”.
