Alana Thompson, aka Honey Boo Boo, has decided to get weight lost surgery for her 17th birthday. Her and her 20-year-old boyfriend want to embark on this healthy journey together, and go under the knife for the suture sculpt endoscopic sleeve. (Read More Here).
According to TMZ, Alana decided to undergo the surgery because she wants to go from 275 lbs to 150, and all the dieting she has tried over time hasn’t worked. She believes that her weight is a genetic thing, and the only way to lose weight is to get the surgery.
Alana won’t be on this journey by herself, though! Her boyfriend, Dralin Russell, will also have the surgery. Dralin, 20, and Alana have been dating for a little over a year. The surgery is something they decided on together, to live a healthy lifestyle.
The surgery is scheduled for late August, close to Alana’s 17th birthday. Hopefully all goes well, and she gets the results she wants.
