After being found guilty of indecently assaulting two boys in the 1990s, a former councillor and teacher was sentenced to seven years in prison.

Anthony Hampton, 76, was a Vale of Glamorgan Councillor from Watkiss Way in Cardiff Bay. He was convicted on 12 counts of indecent assault on two males under the age of sixteen.

Offenses heard at Newport Crown Court included performing a sex act on both a victim and himself.
