It has been 10 years since Oscar Pistorius shot his girlfriend, model Reeva Steenkamp and now the Blade Runner wants parole.
According to reports, Reeva’s parents will reject Oscar’s parole bid as he has not shown remorse.
Pistorius shot and killed his Steenkamp, saying he thought she was an intruder. Steenkamp’s family say Pistorius has not shown remorse over the accident.
Media reports said Barry Steenkamp, Reeva’s father met with Pistorius last year in a meeting facilitated by the Department of Correctional Services. The family decided to oppose the parole because Pistorius refused to admit his action was deliberate.
