A Zimbabwean notorious robber was shot and killed by South African police after robbing a jewellery store in Plettenberg Bay. He was known by the nicknames Toba. 

Toba allegedly committed numerous robberies in South Africa and Zimbabwe, according to the CITE.

Reports claim that Toba was part of a three-member gang that robbed the jewellery shop before fleeing in a BMW vehicle. The gang was intercepted by the police and a shootout ensued. One of the suspects was shot while the other two escaped.
