A Texas woman was accused of stabbing her boyfriend multiple times after he reportedly didn’t help her with the household bills and other expenses.
On Thanksgiving Day, Cassandra Gutierrez,30, stabbed her boyfriend of one year after confronting him about his lack of contribution to the bills. According to Newsweek, the couple returned to Gutierrez’s San Antonio home after a night of drinking and she became confrontational. The confrontation quickly turned violent after Gutierrez grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the 42-year-old victim multiple times.
The arrest affadavit said the victim was stabbed in the neck, right hand, left hand, and back before he escaped the home. Authorities said he was bleeding profousely and left a trail of blood leading to Gutierrez’s apartment. His identity was not revealed and EMTs transported him to the Brooke Army Medical Center where he was listed in stable condition. Gutierrez was taken into custody on Tuesday and charged wit aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
