A man who was wanted on Canada-wide warrants for multiple charges, including #HumanTrafficking, was arrested in #Burnaby, #BritishColumbia, @edmontonpolice said.
Police informed that Keyshawn McMillan was arrested by @rcmpgrcpolice. He was transferred to Edmonton, where he is in EPS custody.
McMillan, who was featured on the Bolo Program list of Canada’s top 25 most wanted suspects in April 2022, was wanted for charges that include forcible confinement, aggravated assault, uttering threats, and assault with a weapon.
“The EPS would like to thank the Burnaby RCMP and the Alberta Sheriffs for their assistance,” Edmonton police said in a statement. McMillan had violently assaulted a 19-year-old woman in March 2021, and again in August 2021.
“Upon further investigation, detectives learned that McMillan forced the female into the sex trade and trafficked her,” the police added.
