A 27 year old from Ishiagu village near Ogwashi-Uku in Delta lost an eye due his conquest for spiritual sight inorder to win lottery. His name is Emmanuel(surname withheld)
His friend, Osita told the all whole story. Osita says, “My friend Emmanuel went to a native doctor in Ishiagu village to seek for spiritual sight so he could win lottery(Baba Ijebu). He went to this native doctor without informing anyone, not even his parents. The native doctor prepared a concoction for him, which he drank and used the remaining to wash his eyes. He cried out to everyone when his left eye was swollen. He was immediately rushed to the hospital but nothing could be done to the left eyes”.
Osita also said that,his friend Emmanuel didn’t tell him and he never knew about the outcome until he(Osita) heard it from a friend. After getting the news from his friend,Osita went to see Emmanuel who had lost his left eye.
