A Florida man was recently arrested and charged after getting caught slapping a police horse’s booty.
Police in St. Petersburg, Florida claim a man from Odessa slapped a fellow St. Petersburg police officer — a horse — on Central Avenue. Officers claim the man told them that “he didn’t know he wasn’t allowed to hit the horses.”
According to St. Petersburg Police Department arrest records, the incident occurred early Saturday morning (December 3) on Central Avenue. The suspect was identified as 27-year-old Alisha Lalani, and they were charged with battery on a police horse. Around 2 a.m., two police officers were riding police horses — which the department claims were wearing their insignia and flashing red and blue lights on the animals.
