A ferry carrying 547 passengers from Kuala Kedah to Langkawi has been stranded, after getting stuck in a mudflat during the low tide. (Read More Here).




“Seramai 547 penumpang dan kru dilaporkan berada dalam feri serta kerja pemindahan sedang dilakukan ketika ini,” says JBPM’s Mohamadul Ehsan.


The Senior Fire Superintendent said they had received a call about the ferry getting stuck in Kuala Kedah waters at 4.55pm today.


“Sebaik tiba pihak komander operasi dimaklumkan sebuah feri penumpang Kuala Kedah ke Langkawi tersadai tersangkut di beting lumpur.”
