A British lottery winner is claiming that his girlfriend, who was living with him rent-free, dumped him and snatched up his ~ $4.2 million earnings after winning! (Read More Here).
The man, identified as 39-year-old Kirk Stevens, claims he and his 40-year-old girlfriend, Laura Hoyle, were “set for life” after winning a jackpot worth about $4.2 million — which he opted to receive as ~ 11,731 a month over the next 30 years. (Read More Here).
Stevens recently revealed that he let his girlfriend live with him in his $281,544 three bedroom home, and after winning a jackpot in the National Lottery’s Set For Life draw in March of 2021, Stevens was planning on proposing to his boo. They even had plans of turning their shared passion of ghost hunting into a business. Also, after winning the lotto, the now-former couple decided to purchase their dream home together. Stevens and Hoyle copped a 5 bedroom, three story, red brick home on the outskirts of Nottingham, for about $586,550. (Read More Here).
However, when it came time to move in — only one of them actually made it. Stevens said about ten weeks ago, his boo decided to dump him. He further revealed that she took all of his lotto earnings because the ticket was bought with her cash and the earnings were linked to her account — despite the novelty check that they posed with spelling out both of their names. He adds, “That should be my home too. We chose it together. It is the house we were meant to move in together.” Despite his feelings, he still helped move his girlfriend into their dream home and gave her things from his home to set her up.
