A 40-year-old man named, Angelo Cysman, who worked as a plant operator at Eskom in Atlantis was given an R50,000 bail for allegedly stealing diesel worth R500 000, Following his arrest on December 23

A 40-year-old man named Angelo Cysman who worked as a plant operator at Eskom in Atlantis was given an R50,000 bail for allegedly stealing diesel worth R500 000, Following his arrest on December 23. 

Cysman showed up in court on Wednesday in Atlantis.

In another news, The Postbank has revealed that a staggering amount of R77 Million that was lost back in a 2021 hack on its IT system was allegedly stolen by one of its contractors.

Postbank spokesperson Dr Bongani Diako said: 

“For the reasons to not want to educate perpetrators, as well as protect the processes under way and the integrity of the payments systems, Postbank will not go into any details”
