A 22-year-old woman in Colorado has been charged with felony second-degree kidnapping and second-degree assault after tying up her Tinder date and cutting him with a sharp knife before she casually ordered food from DoorDash. (Read More Here).

According to The Daily Beast, Lauren Marie Dooley, who was arraigned on Thursday, invited the man, whose identity has been redacted in court documents, to her home after having briefly conversed with him on the dating app.

The pair talked for a little while before Dooley is said to have stripped and performed oral sex on him — an act to which he consented. She then decided to use duct tape and tie up his wrists and ankles together, which the 21-year-old said he found “funny,” having assumed it was all part of their foreplay fun, but things drastically took a turn for the worse when Dooley then pulled out a kitchen knife and ordered her date to the bedroom. The alleged victim said he feared for his life but did as he was told. He got onto the bed, prompting Dooley to get on top of him and use the knife in her hand to cut his left shoulder.

She then proceeded to apply pressure to his throat for 20 seconds, during which time the man said he was struggling to breathe. Dooley only stopped because she felt it was better to use a belt around her date’s neck instead, which lasted for another 20 seconds, before forcing him to take a bath due to all the excessive blood covering her bedroom floor. While the man was still tied up, police say Dooley decided to order herself food from DoorDash and threatened to kill her date if he screamed once the delivery driver arrived.
