A 13-year-old girl died by suicide from a fall at a residential area in Puchong last night

A 13-year-old girl died by suicide from a fall at a residential area in Puchong last night (Jan 29).

Police say that prior to the incident, the girl was scolded by her mother for owning a mobile phone without permission, and for going out at night often.

Authorities say the girl left several notes saying she was depressed because of her family’s treatment of her.

Police have classified the case as sudden death.
