Chinese opera singer Wang Fang came to occupied #Mariupol and sang the Russian song “Katyusha” there. The #Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reacted to this cynical video:

“Ukraine expects from the Chinese side explanations of the purpose of stay of Chinese citizens in Mariupol, as well as the way they got to the temporarily occupied Ukrainian city.

The performance of the Chinese opera singer Wang-Fang’s song “Katyusha” on the ruins of the Drama Theater in Mariupol, where the Russian army killed more than 600 innocent people, is an example of complete moral degradation.

Moreover, a group of Chinese bloggers has reportedly arrived in the temporarily occupied city. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry will initiate a ban on entry to Ukraine for all Chinese guest bloggers,” Foreign Ministry speaker Nikolenko wrote.

He said that a group of Chinese bloggers also arrived in the temporarily occupied Mariupol, and this violates the legislation of Ukraine. Nikolenko adds that Ukraine respects the territorial integrity of China and expects an explanation from the Chinese side regarding the purpose of the stay of Chinese citizens in Mariupol and the route they took to enter the occupied city.

On March 16, 2022, a Russian bomber dropped an aerial bomb on the building of the Mariupol Drama Theater. The city council reported that approximately 300 people died in the theater, but an Associated Press investigation indicates that nearly 600 people died.
