Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Passenger filmed plane ‘glitch in the matrix’ after being spotted standing still in the air in San Francisco.
Several years ago a Bangkok Airways pilot filmed passengers streamed off a jet bridge late one night in Phuket, Thailand. He was sitting in the cockpit of his aircraft and noticed that they were walking on the jet bridge but there was no plane anywhere in sight they could be getting off of.
One particular Reddit video is certainly the latter, as a plane seems to stop mid-air.
The footage, which is actually filmed by a passenger from another aircraft, shows a plane seemingly coming to a complete stop in the air.
As a result, many have questioned whether it’s a ‘glitch in the matrix’, after seemingly seeing the footage.
The video has seen many Redditors head to the comment section, and it’s fair to say a lot of them are certainly rather baffled. As Fox Mulder learned from Dana Scully, there’s always a scientific explanation for the paranormal — no matter how implausible, In that case the jet bridge you see passengers walking along is actually empty and it’s a reflection from inside the airport.
Others did provide a more believable solution though, with one person writing: “Strong headwind and a low indicated air speed coupled with a trick of perspective.”
The video is actually not the first time the internet has been left baffled by planes seemingly being left ‘stopped still in the air’, as one viral TikTok earlier this year revealed.
In the video, TikTok user Tania is in a car driving along a road, as she spots a passenger plane in the air above the traffic.
