Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Earth-838 has been removed from ‘DEADPOOL 3’ after undergoing rewrites..

The film would’ve originally explored the aftermath of the events that occurred in ‘DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS’.

Taking to social media, a Redditor wrote: “dborn1: This is my final leak EVER. Just wanted to correct something I said. It appears @AlexFromCC was right. The plan was for Mephisto to buy Avengers Tower. Also Universe 838 was part of Deadpool 3’s plot. But they changed all of it in rewrites so I guess his intel was just outdated.”

That location will be introduced in Agatha: Coven of Chaos and a Marvel Studios Special Presentation; Elizabeth Olsen isn’t expected to appear in either, but both projects will establish what that plane of existence is, leaving the door open to the Scarlet Witch returning down the line. 

As for that other WandaVision spin-off, Vision Quest, that’s expected to loosely adapt Tom King’s Vision run by having the android create a new synthezoid family comprising of Virginia, Viv, and Vin.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness disappointed many fans by portraying the Scarlet Witch as a villain, though it felt like a mostly logical next step for the character after WandaVision (even if her arc was a little rushed). 

Since then, there’s been a lot of speculation about her MCU future, with a new report from The Cosmic Circus claiming Wanda Maximoff is very much alive…and in a “dormant state” at the end of The Witches’ Road. With the buzz around the Ryan Reynolds starer Deadpool chapter 3, the speculation around the inclusion of other multiverses is doing the rounds of the entertainment world. The Shawn Levy-directed prequel is slated for a 2024 release. Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine is supposed to join the – Merc with a Mouth in the third chapter of Deadpool. However, in similarity to the existence of multiverses in the MCU projects, it has been assumed that Deadpool’s plot might see the inclusion of the new Earth-838 Iluminati for revenge after Scarlet Witch had killed its members off. The massacre between Doctor Strange and the Scarlet Witch in the Multiverse Of Madness was one of the most important turning points in the plot.
