Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Fans lament over outage as Roblox down for the 3rd and 4th time today.
Roblox, the $19 billion gaming giant, has joined the growing list of tech companies to ditch remote working—and employees who don’t want to work at the company’s physical office in California at least three days a week (which means relocation for some) will have to find another job, its CEO and founder David Baszucki has warned.
No official statements from the developers have been released – the Roblox official social media platforms have been radio silent about the issue. The outage is reportedly making it impossible to access the game and its content.
Around 7.9 million users were on the platform at that time, causing the game to crash, the account wrote. There was a brief recovery period about 40 minutes later, when 5.9 million users were tracked using the platform, which subsequently crashed again. A thread on the Reddit page R/Roblox, a forum where gamers can chat about the game and their experiences playing it, noted the outage, with several Redditors expressing their fury at the crash – though some did also note that the game was still working for them. It is rumoured that specific regional servers might be down, not all of them across the world.
