Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Toni Kroos unhappy and calm reaction to Jude Bellingham’s goal for Real Madrid against Barcelona in El Clásico match today goes viral in a clip.
However, Barcelona were then victim to a Bellingham masterclass, something which is becoming increasingly common in Spain. Prior to the match, the 20-year-old had scored 11 times in 12 appearances, bagging three assists too since completing his £88m move from Borussia Dortmund.
On Saturday afternoon, Madrid arrived at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys looking to pull four points clear of fierce rivals Barcelona with a victory.
However, they found themselves 1-0 down inside seven minutes after former Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gunodgan scored for Barcelona.
In the second half, it turned into the Bellingham show as he first scored a stunning long-range equaliser in the 68th minute which was unstoppable.
Deep into injury time, Bellingham was in the right place at the right time to win the match 2-1.
In what was his El Clasico debut, Bellingham has further cemented himself as one of the best players in world football on current form.
After Bellingham’s first goal, the reaction of the Madrid bench was captured. Since his £88 million move from Borussia Dortmund during the summer transfer window, Bellingham has had a spectacular start to life in the Spanish captial.
In 13 matches across all competitions, Bellingham has so far recorded 13 goals and three assists.
As a result of the win, Madrid overtook Girona and returned to the summit of the La Liga table with 28 points.
Meanwhile, Barcelona remain third with 24 points. Atletico Madrid will have the chance to overtake Barcelona if they win their match against Deportivo Alaves on Sunday night. He has wasted no time in becoming a key player for Carlo Ancelotti, something which he underlined yet again in Saturday’s El Clasico. He initially got them back into the tie with a sensational finish outside the box, sending the travelling supporters wild.
Not content with just one goal, though, he then bagged the winner in added time for Madrid. Daniel Carvajal played the ball into the box, and a fortunate deflection from Luka Modric carried it past the Barcelona defenders and into the path of the onrushing Bellingham. The midfielder simply had to tap the ball past Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, sparking bedlam in the away end.
