Taking to social media, a German journalist, Michael, claimed that Carlos Yulo’s mom squandered his P125 million in 11 days as Carlos Yulo refused to let his family relatives to his P24 Million condominium after he found out.
Journalist Michael wrote: “May aberya pala sa Yulo household. Maraming issues – Carlos’ money spent on a house & lot na hindi nakapangalan sa kanya, GF na di boto ang family, and the reason kuno why he had to cut ties with his Japanese mentor. Sana maayos lahat. But I’m amazed at Carlos’ dedication to his sports. I just hope someone can advise him on handling his money. He might be too young to handle those millions of pesos coming his way. Wag gumaya Kay Inday, dong! ₱125M in 11 days? Malooy ka sa kwarta, ddong.”

However, amid his achievement, Carlos did not received support from his mother. Netizens have noticed that Angelica Yulo reposted a news item talking about a Japanese gymnast. “Japan pa din talaga….Lakas,” she wrote in his post.
