Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that The English FA have decided not to sanction Luis Diaz for lifting his shirt due to exceptional circumstances.

In addition to the Reds, FSG owns franchises in Major League Baseball (the Boston Red Sox) and the National Hockey League (the Pittsburgh Penguins). It also has a stake in the NASCAR team RFK Racing.

Colombia’s anti-government ELN group was responsible for the kidnapping in the country’s far north.

Footage shot yesterday showed Diaz’s family members, including his mother, crying as they celebrated his goal, which they had previously watched on television. She had earlier made an emotional plea for her husband’s release.

Díaz’s emotional outpouring occurred after scoring a dramatic late equalizer for Liverpool against Luton Town. This game was his first appearance after two matches missed following his parents’ abduction at gunpoint in Colombia on October 28th. Although his mother was promptly rescued, his father remains captive. Díaz’s goal celebration unveiled a shirt bearing the message ‘Libertad Para Papa’ (Freedom for Papa), a passionate appeal for his father’s release.

Under the proposed arrangement, the PGA Tour, Europe’s DP World Tour and LIV Golf would be brought under one umbrella, bound by the PIF as a minority investor, but Shipnuck has reported that the deal is on the verge of collapsing. FSG has smelled an opportunity and tabled a giant offer to ‘usurp’ the PIF.

Exceptional Decision

FA rules typically prohibit players from displaying personal messages by removing their shirts. However, Díaz’s exceptional circumstance and partial removal of his shirt prompted a deviation from this rule. The decision not to penalize Díaz displays a compassionate and understanding approach by the FA, recognizing the severity of the player’s personal situation.
