Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Report that Zion Williamson was involved in a street brawl outside of a restaurant in New Orleans last night is FAKE NEWS.

NBA CENTEL WROTE: “Zion Williamson allegedly was involved in a brawl outside of a restaurant in New Orleans last night. The fight resulted in 2 men being hospitalized. They are reported to be in stable condition.”

According to the post, the person beat up a group which resulted in two other guys ending up in a hospital. The man accused of looking like the NBA star had an uncanny resemblance to Williamson. However, on further investigations, it was found out that the man wasn’t the power forward for the New Orleans Pelicans.

The video allegedly dates back to June 2021 and Williamson had no involvement with the brawl that happened. The two-time All-Star was coming off an impressive sophomore season that year where he played 61 games. He averaged 27.0 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 3.7 assists during his second year in the NBA.

The Denver Nuggets are set to face the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday night, and it should be an exciting battle between two Western Conference rivals. While the Nuggets are far above the Pelicans right now in both the standings and overall championship probability, New Orleans is still a team that expects to be in the playoff mix. New Orleans and Denver have released their injury reports for this game, and Pelicans star Zion Williamson is not listed, meaning he is available to play in this game. Williamson is averaging 21.3 PPG through nine games so far this season, which is actually a career low for him. Williamson’s previous career low in PPG came his rookie season when he was averaging 22.5 PPG. That said, these numbers for Williamston are still very good, he is just not converting at as high of a field goal percentage as he typically has throughout his career. That summer, he also suffered a broken foot, which caused him to miss the entire 2021-22 season.Fans believed that the man was indeed Zion. However, it was debunked shortly after and he had nothing to do with it. The X account @TheNBACentel is known to post misleading news stories, which are often believable.
