Malaysians aged 21 and above earning RM100,000 or less per year can redeem their RM100 e-wallet incentive starting next Monday.

This initiative under the eMadani programme would benefit 10 million adults and involve a cost of RM1 billion, says PM Anwar Ibrahim.

Four e-wallet providers will reportedly be involved in the program, although Anwar did not provide further details.

The redemption period for this e-wallet assistance is until Feb 20, 2024. Meanwhile, Anwar also announced that the maximum rate for the Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah programme would be raised to RM3,700 next year from the previous RM3,100.

Additionally, the minimum rate for youths would also be increased from RM350 to RM500.
