Roger Clark has responded to Florida joker who asked for $1-2M from Rockstar Games for parodying him in GTA 6.
Roger starts the video by showing a clip of Sullivan saying, “GTA, we gotta talk.” He quickly cuts the clip there and starts peaking saying, “No you don’t. You don’t need to talk to them. They’re not going to talk to you.” He then gives Sullivan a send of reality saying, “They’ve had people like you trying to sue them for decades. They are lawyered up man. They know exactly what they can and can’t get away with.”
Lastly, he ends the video with words for Sullivan. He says, “If I was you, I’d use the notoriety they just threw your way to my advantage. Capitalize on it somehow! You ain’t getting a job at Home Depot with that face!”
Rockstar Games makes full use of parody in the Grand Theft Auto games and have been doing this for long enough that you can probably bet that they’ve over-analyzed every detail with their lawyers. Whether Sullivan gets anywhere with his claims remains to be seen, but we wouldn’t really bet on it given history hasn’t been to kind to similar people.
The infamous Florida joker who was flashing on news throughout the States around 2017-2018, is back in the headlines. Except that this time it is not for another crime or a mugshot, instead it is for his “speculated” appearance in the GTA 6 trailer.
Rockstar Games raked up a storm in the gaming community by finally launching the trailer of its upcoming and anticipated project, GTA 6. The trailer broke several records within just a few hours of its force launch on December 4, 2023.
There is a snippet of a broadcasted news report shown in the GTA 6 trailer. The news shows an NPC with purple hair and his face covered with tattoos. Behind him is the Sheriff’s Office badge. Looking at the shot, fans immediately recalled the Florida Joker who was made famous by news channels back in 2017-2018 after his mugshots went viral.
