Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Tory Lanez driver submitted a statement as he alluded to Kelsey having the gun.




In a sworn affidavit, the bodyguard and driver on the night of the alleged shooting of female rapper Megan Thee Stallion stated that Megan’s then-best friend, Kelsey Harris, was holding a gun and that Tory Lanez, born Daystar Peterson, attempted to take the gun from Kelsey when it was fired.


The attorney dug in and also pointed out how Megan lied to Los Angeles Police Department detectives and on her interview with Gayle King. Lanez’ defense attorneys started to present their closing statements, but are now expected to finish them on Dec. 22. Following the closing remarks the jury is expected finish its deliberation into the end of the week.


During the lengthy closing, the DA countered to say that Megan’s testimony was true as “she has no reason to lie about who shot her.” Furthermore, the DA presented a powerpoint presentation and told the jury that “Megan’s life had been hell for the last two years.” The DA also said Megan “wished” she was dead. Megan took the stand on Dec. 14 when she told jurors she wished she had died.


The document was filed as an affidavit in the Court of Appeal of the State of California, Second Appellate District, Division 3.


On December 5th, Jaquan Smith, bodyguard and driver the night of July 12, 2020, for Daystar Peterson, professionally known as Tory Lanez, gave a statement about what happened on that night. In his statement, Jaquan made it clear that Kelsey Harris, the former assistant and best friend of Megan Pete, who is professionally known as Megan Thee Stallion, was holding a gun.
