Awkwafina will play role as Zhen, the second lead, in ‘KUNG FU PANDA 4’.

She will be Po’s protege for the role of new Dragon Warrior.

Viola Davis will play the Chameleon in ‘KUNG FU PANDA 4’.

She is a sorceress with the ability to summon villains from the past.

Trailer for the movie drops tomorrow. As well as Black, the new movie will also see the returns of Ian McShane as Tai Lung, Bryan Cranston as Li Shan, James Hong as Mr Ping, and Dustin Hoffman as Master Shifu.

Also back are Angelina Jolie as Master Tigress, Jackie Chan as Master Monkey, Seth Rogen as Master Mantis, David Cross as Master Crane, and Lucy Liu as Master Viper.

The fourth movie comes eight years after Kung Fu Panda 3. The franchise has also spawned a few TV spin-offs, most recently Netflix’s The Dragon Knight, which ended this September after three seasons.

Jack Black is back as Po, the world’s most unlikely kung fu master, and he’s bringing some friends along for the adventure.

Joining Jack Black in Kung Fu Panda 4 are Awkwafina and Viola Davis, adding their voices to the already impressive cast.

Other notable additions include Dustin Hoffman, James Hong, Bryan Cranston, Ian McShane, and Ke Huy Quan. Directed by Mike Mitchell, this film marks the return of the franchise to the big screen after a successful run on TV.

In Kung Fu Panda 4, the lovable Po faces a new challenge as he is called upon to become the Spiritual Leader of the Valley of Peace.

However, things take a twist when a new villain, Chameleon (voiced by Viola Davis), enters the scene. Chameleon, a wicked sorceress with the ability to shapeshift, sets her sights on Po’s Staff of Wisdom, aiming to summon all the master villains Po has defeated to the spirit realm.
