Tavia Pew, Kayy Lashay, and Kaneisha Lewis were named as the victims of a deadly one-vehicle crash on State Road 19 near St. Florian Lane around 3:15 a.m. on Sunday. A fourth, Mariah Belcher, remains in critical condition.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a Jeep Grand Cherokee the ladies were traveling in failed to negotiate a left-hand curve before striking a pole and overturning several times.
According to authorities, the driver and all three passengers were ejected from the SUV during the crash. No one was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
