In Magdeburg, Germany, a car deliberately drove into a crowd at a Christmas market, killing at least eleven people and injuring around 60, with some in critical condition, according to the Magdeburger Volksstimme. The suspect, identified as a 50-year-old Saudi national, has been arrested by local police, though his name has not been disclosed. This event recalls a similar tragedy eight years ago in Berlin, where a truck attack at a Christmas market resulted in 12 deaths.
