Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Wife, Mamie Foday, stabbed her husband, Ishiaka Magai, to death in Bo City.
A 24-year-old woman, Mamie Foday, has been arrested for the murder of her husband, Ishiaka Magai, aged 42, in Bo City. The incident took place on Sunday, December 8th, at their home located at 42 Koribondo Road. READ MORE HERE
Reports indicate that the couple, married for several years but without children, had a history of domestic disputes. Despite these challenges, they chose to continue living together. Witnesses have stated that Foday had previously made threats against her husband, declaring, “I will be the one to kill him.” On the day of the incident, while Magai was asleep, Foday allegedly stabbed him in the stomach.
Magai was quickly transported to Bo Government Hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival. His body has since been moved to the mortuary for further examination.
Five witnesses have come forward, providing statements to the police that support the claims of Foday’s threats and detail the events leading up to the murder.
The Regional Criminal Investigation Department (CID) South is actively investigating the case, with Detective Police Constable 18924 Mbayo M. leading the inquiry under the supervision of Detective Assistant Superintendent of Police Titus Vandy. The case file will be submitted to the Principal State Counsel for legal advice as the investigation progresses.
