Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Suleiman Hilal al-Assad, cousin, executed in public square while hanging rope on his neck as he was strangulated while being lifted up with a crane operator in Latakia viral video.
On Dec. 8, the Syrian opposition headed by Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham and its leader Ahmed al-Sharaa, commonly known as Abu Mohammad al-Julani, announced the collapse of the Syrian regime.
Several Syrian anti-regime activists posted the alleged news on social media, attached it with photos of Suleiman Assad and wrote: “The killing of the “criminal” Suleiman Hilal Assad, cousin of the “criminal” Bashar Assad, in central Latakia.”
It is worth mentioning that, Suleiman Assad, son of Hilal Assad, was arrested in August 2015 after murdering a regime Colonel Hassan al-Sheikh after a traffic dispute in the streets of Latakia, SOHR reported. READ MORE HERE
In 2016, he was sentenced to 20 years before being freed after only about 5 years in jail, according to opposition media reported in 2020.
According to alleged reports, Bashar Assad’s cousin was killed after being shot by armed men in the central of Latakia city.
