Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Leeks apologized to Prof Mamokgethi Phakeng after he called her a dumb bitch for buying Chris Brown concert ticket.

Taking to social media a few days ago, it was reported that Prof Mamokgethi Phakeng had purchased tickets to Chris Brown concert in FNB and it immediately spark Outrage as feminists began to call her names.

In the process, Hot Boy Leeks, called Prof Mamokgethi Phakeng a dumb bitch.

Hotboyleeks wrote: “I would like to offer my unreserved and sincere apology to Prof Mamokgethi Phakeng (@fabacademic) for the offensive and defamatory statements I made about her on the 8th of October 2024. In my post, I referred to her in a derogatory and harmful manner, calling her a “dumb bitch” and “stupid.” Upon reflection, I acknowledge that my words were inappropriate, baseless and unjustifiable. “My statement suggesting that UCT students “hate her” was an unfair and reckless generalisation. In fact, many students hold Prof Phakeng in high esteem for her immense contributions to academia, and education in general, including those she funds through the Mamokgethi Phakeng Scholarship and others in her personal capacity. She has positively impacted the lives of countless students, and my remarks failed to reflect the reality of her  her influence in the academic community.
Moreover, I acknowledge that using derogatory terms such as “bitch” was entirely uncalled for and demeaning. There is no justification for resorting to such language when addressing anyone, let alone a distinguished academic with a globally recognised track record of excellence. I regret using this term to demean her and mischaracterise her in such a way. A difference in opinion or perspective does not warrant name-calling. 

“Moving forward, I commit to being more mindful of the weight of my words and the impact they can have on Prof Phakeng. I will ensure that I engage in more respectful and constructive discourse on public platforms, even when I disagree with her life choices or opinions.”
