Citizen TV crime and investigative journalist Hassan Mugambi is set to leave Royal Media Services (RMS) in the coming days to take up a role at the Ministry of Defence.
Kenyans.co.ke through its sources who spoke on condition of anonymity on Wednesday, February 14, established that the journalist is currently serving notice ahead of his departure.
Upon leaving Citizen TV, the anchor will assume the role of communication advisor at Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale’s office.
A source on Monday, February 12, was the first to disclose that Mugambi and political reporter Cehmutai Goin were set to leave Royal Media Services.
“I can confirm to that Mugambi is joining CS Duale’s office while Goin will move to Speaker Wetangula’s office,” the source stated
