President Buhari appoints new Inspector General of Police on tuesday. The newly appointed IGP is Mr. Mohamed Adamu, who took over from Mr. Ibrahim Idris.
The appointment was held at the presidential villa today,where President Buhari appointed Mr. Adamu as the new IGP. Mr. Idris wasn’t sacked but he was retired. Mr. Adamu promised to restrategise security and work towards kidnapping to keep the country safe.
